Our Core Team

Pauline Lai, founder and CEO of PL Management Ltd, is a qualified CPA / MBA graduate with extensive senior management experience in MNCs and Hong Kong listed companies and insurance industry. Highly familiar with Asia Pacific and China business environments and possessing a wide spectrum of skills and strengths including strong regional / headquarter strategic and financial control in regulated environment.

 

Pauline has great experience in delivering complicated M&A transactions and IPO, arranging sophisticated financing arrangements, leading investment and treasury management, operational management, regulatory & compliance, policies formulation in both local and international arenas. She possess strong insurance knowledge and practicality in finance and operation functions.

Jeffrey Chan, Vice President - Project Consulting

Jeff's background in the field of architecture,  real estate development management of international real estate including projects in US, China, UK, Australia and more, and with exposure to project design, management, financing, acquisition and asset management,  is a great addition to PLM's ability to deliver expert advice to our business partners. 

 

With  of University of Southern California in Architecture and Master of Real Estate from Hong Kong Polytechnics University, Jeff has led a number of notable projects in US, China, Australia and UK, with successes in managing high profile residential projects in New York, Sydney, and successful delivery of asset management plan for various commercial projects in UK. 

Dr. Louis Poon, Vice President - Business Consulting

Louis’s background in the field of asset management, banking, family office, food & beverages, financial technology, financial media & PR and professional training of regional and international projects in Greater China, Middle East, SEA, Russia, Spain, UK and USA;  and with exposure to include corporate finance management, corporate P&L control, corporate strategic planning, digital marketing strategy, ESG integration, human resources management, IT management, legal and compliance, regional business plan, regional sales and marketing management, etc. As Managing Director (Hong Kong) of FNZ Group, Louis successfully launched with WeLab Bank (Hong Kong virtual bank) on the “First-in-Asia digital bank to launch the wealth advisory service” in June 2022.

With of City University of Hong Kong in DBA and Master of Science in Marketing from National University of Ireland, Dublin, Louis has awarded the Chartered Marketer, Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK and the Certified ESG Planner, International Chamber of Sustainable Development. Louis is also the Executive Vice Chairman, Association of Family Offices in Asia and being awarded by City University of Hong Kong, College of Business on “Distinguished Alumni Award 2023” on ESG, Impact Investing and Marketing aspect.
